At Coba Education, we’re looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our growing Northampton team. You’ll step into a warm desk with established school partnerships across Northamptonshire, giving you the perfect platform to succeed from day one.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing, growing and building new relationships with schools across the county, supporting them with their staffing needs across daily supply, long‑term, and permanent roles. This is a fast‑paced, people‑focused role where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and nurturing relationships with schools, including Cover Managers, and Headteachers
- Proactively making calls to generate new business and arrange client meetings
- Identifying and developing new leads into active opportunities
- Matching candidates to school requirements and delivering excellent service
- Managing the full recruitment process from sourcing to placement
- Supporting candidate registrations, interviews, and onboarding
- Ensuring all safeguarding and compliance checks are completed (DBS, references, UK ENIC where required)
- Working towards and exceeding weekly targets

- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
- Previous experience in recruitment or business development/sales (desirable)
