Geography Teacher – Bring the World into the Classroom

Coba Education partners with a wide range of excellent secondary schools in Milton Keynes, Brackley, Towcester, Buckingham, and the South Northants area, offering both short-term and long-term placements for Geography specialists.
Your Role in the Classroom
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3–5 (depending on experience)
- Create lessons that inspire curiosity about people, places, and environments
- Adapt quickly to different schools and learning styles
- Support progress, behaviour, and classroom engagement
- Ensure continuity of learning when covering for permanent staff
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with a Geography specialism (or strong subject knowledge)
- Confidence in engaging secondary students in the classroom
- Two recent professional references
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
Great to Have:
- At least three terms of experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
- Knowledge of GCSE and/or A-level Geography curriculum
- Driving licence and access to a car for travelling between schools
