Coba Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher to work with a range of secondary schools in the Northampton area. This role offers flexible opportunities including temporary, short-term, and long-term placements, making it ideal for teachers looking for varied experience or flexible working arrangements.
As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students. You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage participation and help students develop both their physical skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encourage student participation and promote positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Support the development of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal fitness.
- Ensure lessons are safe, inclusive, and well-managed.
- Follow school policies and contribute positively to the wider school environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for sport, fitness, and student wellbeing.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
