Coba Education is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in a number of secondary schools across Northamptonshire that we partner with. We have several roles available, offering flexible opportunities for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people in education.
These roles involve supporting students in the classroom, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education, youth work, care, or support roles who are looking to work within a school environment.
The Role
- Support students in the classroom alongside the teacher
- Work with individuals or small groups to support learning
- Assist students with additional needs, including SEND
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
- A patient, supportive, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting students in education
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
