Coba Education is currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a range of welcoming and supportive schools across Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA looking to take the next step in their career, with opportunities to cover classes and lead learning across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (or KS3/KS4 depending on setting)
  • Provide targeted intervention support for small groups and individuals
  • Assist with planning, preparation and assessment of learning
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required

Requirements

  • HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification (or strong experience equivalent)
  • Proven experience working within a UK school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading a class
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
