Coba Education is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music and Drama Teacher for a part-time temporary position at a secondary school in the Milton Keynes area. This role is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative teacher who is passionate about the performing arts and enjoys inspiring students through music, drama, and performance. You will deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encourage student participation in performance, composition, and drama activities.
- Support students in developing creativity, confidence, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for performances, practical assessments, and coursework where required.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Music, Drama, or Performing Arts at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for the performing arts and student development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Competitive daily pay rates (£150–£200 depending on experience).
- A supportive and dedicated consultant throughout your placement.
