At Coba Education, we’re looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our growing Northampton team.

You’ll step into a warm desk with established school partnerships across Northamptonshire, giving you the perfect platform to succeed from day one.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing, growing and building new relationships with schools across the county, supporting them with their staffing needs across daily supply, long-term, and permanent roles.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days are the same.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building and nurturing relationships with schools, including Cover Managers, and Headteachers
  • Proactively making calls to generate new business and arrange client meetings
  • Identifying and developing new leads into active opportunities
  • Matching candidates to school requirements and delivering excellent service
  • Managing the full recruitment process from sourcing to placement
  • Supporting candidate registrations, interviews, and onboarding
  • Ensuring all safeguarding and compliance checks are completed (DBS, references, UK ENIC where required)
  • Working towards and exceeding weekly targets
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive, driven, and eager to learn
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Previous experience in recruitment or business development/sales (desirable)
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Office-based in Northampton
  • Travel required for client visits
