Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining all site utilities, including electrical supply, gas, water, compressed air, heating, and ventilation.
- Taking ownership of building facilities by driving refurbishment, maintenance, and energy efficiency projects, delivering cost-effective solutions that enhance performance and support company growth.
- Leading planned preventative maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Driving engineering projects with ownership and initiative, collaborating across teams and contractors to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions that make a real impact.
- Overseeing external contractors and ensuring compliance with risk assessments, permits, and company procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement by working with teams to reduce energy use, improve processes, and track savings.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and company standards, resolving engineering-related safety issues and representing the department in H&S meetings.
- Managing site security, including liaison with security providers and reviewing site performance on a regular basis

Qualifications
- ONC, City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Time served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical disciplines
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Hours of Work
0830 – 1700 (Monday to Thursday), 0830 – 1600 (Friday), 39 hours per week.
