About the Role

We're looking for a qualified Electrician with F-Gas certification to join a growing and well-established business based in Malvern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining electrical work with air conditioning installation and servicing throughout the year. During the winter months, you'll primarily focus on electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and testing. Throughout the summer, you'll support the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems for commercial and domestic customers. The role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to manage your own workload and travel directly to customer sites without the need to report to the office each day. Most work is carried out across Worcestershire and the surrounding areas, making this an ideal opportunity for someone living within approximately 20 miles of Malvern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Duties
    • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
    • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
    • Complete electrical testing and inspection where required.
    • Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations and health & safety requirements.
    • Complete job reports and relevant certification accurately.
    • Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
  • Air Conditioning Duties
    • Install split and multi-split air conditioning systems.
    • Service, maintain and repair commercial and domestic air conditioning equipment.
    • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics.
    • Handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with F-Gas legislation.
    • Ensure installations are completed to a high professional standard.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • Current F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
  • Experience carrying out electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Experience installing and servicing air conditioning systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage your own workload.

Desirable

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
  • ECS Card.
  • IPAF or PASMA certification.
  • Experience working across both commercial and domestic environments.
