We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our vehicles, providing high-quality service to our customers.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Competitive salary according to experience, with 33 holiday days including bank holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous.
