Coats Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Lye.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established team, working on steel components and fabrications to meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
The role:
- MIG and TIG welding steel components.
- Working with material thicknesses from approximately 2.5mm to 20mm.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings.
- Producing high-quality welds and ensuring work meets required standards.
- Working safely and meeting production deadlines.
What we're looking for:
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
- Experience working with steel and different material thicknesses.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to complete a practical weld test as part of the recruitment process.
What's on offer?
- Salary up to £34,000 per annum.
- 34 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
- An additional day off for your birthday.
- Monday–Thursday, 7am–4pm.
- Friday, 7am–1pm.
