As an Assembly Operative, you'll work as part of the Assembly Department, building and manufacturing components to technical drawings, customer requirements and company procedures. No two days are exactly the same, and you'll see the products you build go out the door. Day to day, you will: Assemble components and products using drawings, specifications and Standard Operating Procedures Work with hand and power tools Check products to make sure they meet the required standard Identify and package completed products Flag any issues that could affect production Keep your work area clean, organised and safe Follow company quality procedures, ISO requirements and Health & Safety policies Support other departments when needed About you You'll be a practical, reliable person with a good eye for detail. You'll have: Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment (essential) Experience using hand and power tools A practical, problem-solving approach Good time management and organisation A strong work ethic and a team-player attitude Good communication skills Don't worry if you haven't worked from technical drawings before. Full training can be provided. The package £26,437 per year 34 days holiday (including bank holidays), plus an extra day off for your birthday 40 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:00pm Friday: 7:00am to 1:00pm Weekends free, every week Stable, long-term role with an established employer Training provided on technical drawings Why apply?
