About the Role
This is a hands-on position where you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll be working across a variety of machinery, handling breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting new equipment installations. The role is mechanically biased, but some electrical knowledge will be useful.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining and repairing: Machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, drills), sheet metal and fabrication machinery, general workshop tools and equipment
- Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Installing and commissioning new machinery
- Supporting general site maintenance, including basic plumbing tasks
- Ensuring all work meets high quality and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience
- Basic electrical skills and fault-finding ability
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Team player with a flexible approach
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Reliable, with strong timekeeping and work ethic
Hours & Overtime
- Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
- Overtime regularly available:
- Paid at 1.5x rate (weekdays & Saturday mornings)
- Opportunity to increase earnings through overtime
