The Company
We're partnering with a leading UK manufacturer of specialist electric industrial vehicles, supplying innovative transport solutions to customers across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, airports, hospitality and many other sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an Electrical Fitter to their production team based just outside Peterborough.
The Role
This is a hands-on position within a busy production environment, building, testing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of electric industrial vehicles and bespoke transport solutions. Working as part of the factory team, you'll be involved in both new vehicle production and fleet preparation, ensuring all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation and wiring of 12V and 48V vehicle systems
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair work
- Mechanical assembly and fitting of vehicle components
- Building, testing and preparing vehicles for customer delivery
- Maintaining high quality, safety and housekeeping standards
