Reporting directly to the Technical Director, youll take full ownership of projects, lead dynamic design teams, and deliver cutting-edge mechanical solutions. This isnt just another design role, its a chance to have a direct impact on the products we create and how we deliver them.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead projects from concept through to delivery, reporting directly to the Technical Director.
  • Design, model, and refine mechanical systems in Autodesk Inventor(non-negotiable).
  • Create and manage detailed drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • ApplyDFM (Design for Manufacturing)principles to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and production ready.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and wider teams to refine solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, guiding projects and mentoring engineers.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design processes.


Must-Haves:

  • Strong mechanical engineering background (degree or equivalent).
  • Extensive Inventor experience, this is essential, and we need you to hit the ground running.
  • Proven expertise inmechanical design, with a focus on sheet metal and complex assemblies.
  • Solid knowledge ofDFMand practical manufacturing processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding ofBOMsand engineering documentation.
  • Track record ofleading projects and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver under pressure.
