Reporting directly to the Technical Director, youll take full ownership of projects, lead dynamic design teams, and deliver cutting-edge mechanical solutions. This isnt just another design role, its a chance to have a direct impact on the products we create and how we deliver them.

What Youll Be Doing
- Lead projects from concept through to delivery, reporting directly to the Technical Director.
- Design, model, and refine mechanical systems in Autodesk Inventor(non-negotiable).
- Create and manage detailed drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- ApplyDFM (Design for Manufacturing)principles to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and production ready.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and wider teams to refine solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, guiding projects and mentoring engineers.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design processes.
Must-Haves:
- Strong mechanical engineering background (degree or equivalent).
- Extensive Inventor experience, this is essential, and we need you to hit the ground running.
- Proven expertise inmechanical design, with a focus on sheet metal and complex assemblies.
- Solid knowledge ofDFMand practical manufacturing processes.
- Comprehensive understanding ofBOMsand engineering documentation.
- Track record ofleading projects and teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver under pressure.
