About the Role
My client is a leading manufacturer investing in people and equipment and now looking for a Production Technician to join the team. Youll be a key part of keeping our production running smoothly while delivering thehighest quality standards.
Main duties:
- Set up and run multiple production lines and equipment efficiently
- Carry out QC testing using a variety of equipment to ensure high quality standards
- Meet all production work requirements following operating procedures and work instructions
- Operate machinery safely, troubleshoot issues, and maintain smooth production processes
- Work as part of a team, supporting all company practices and Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
- Produce work to the highest standard in line with ISO9001 processes
- Experience running extrusion lines is a plus; otherwise, experience in plastic processing or general manufacturing is valuable
Person-profile requirements:
- Formal engineering qualification college level
- Previous experience in a Production / Manufacturing / Factory environment is desirable but not essential
- Practical mechanical ability and strong problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills, organised, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Due to site location,drivers with their own vehicle are preferred
