Role Summary: Coate Water Care is an experienced care home provider, committed to delivering the highest standards of person-centred care to older people in our residential and nursing homes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join us as a Cook at our Westley Court Care Home.
The key responsibilities of our Cook role at Coate Water Care include:
- Planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost
- Carrying out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the head chef
- Ensuring that dishes are produced to the required standards of quality and attractiveness before leaving the kitchen
- Complying with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
- Preparation of food for special functions
