Hours - 24 Hours per week, shifts between 7.30am - 3.30pm, Alternative Weekends required

Role Summary
Coate Water Care is an experienced care home provider, committed to delivering the highest standards of person centred care to older people in our residential and nursing homes. To build upon our success story, we rely on our passionate and dedicated staff at all levels. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join us as a Cook at our Mockley Manor Care Home. If you have a passion for making a positive difference and can demonstrate the right behaviours, attitude and enthusiasm for working in an adult social care environment this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop in a caring, person-centred organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost
- To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the head chef
- To ensure that dishes are produced to the required standards of quality and attractiveness before leaving the kitchen
- Comply with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
- Preparation of food for special functions
