We rely on our passionate and dedicated staff at all levels. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join us as a Kitchen Assistant at our Arbory Care Home. Responsibilities:
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and delivery of food to residents in the care home.
- Washing up after meals and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to a high standard at all times.
- Complying with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work.
- Assisting in the preparation of food for special functions.
- Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements (e.g. how to puree food).
- Basic knowledge of preparing meals.
