About the role

You'll be the engine behind COAT's content generation, social and influencer activity - the person who makes things happen on time, to brief and to a high standard. You'll report into the Social & Influencer Manager, working closely with the wider Marketing team, and take ownership of the day-to-day delivery across gifting, scheduling, community, trade content, and reporting. You'll have a couple of years of experience and be comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once.

What you'll do:

  • Social
    • Schedule, upload and publish organic social content across all social channels (primary channel Instagram)
    • Manage day-to-day community engagement, including owning the engagement automation tool
    • Source trade project imagery and content, obtain T&Cs from contributors
    • Assess trade and partner content for suitability across channels
    • Stay tapped in to social listening, platform trends and emerging formats, bringing relevant opportunities to the team
    • Proactively monitor COAT's tags across platforms, assessing whether user-generated content can be repurposed or used
    • Propose process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
    • Produce monthly reports on social and influencer performance
  • Content Generation, Influencer & Gifting
    • Own gifted creator outreach end to end - sourcing, contacting, logistics, follow-up
    • Manage gifted creator relationships once partnerships are established
    • Build and maintain creator lists and sourcing pipelines
    • Track content deliverables and chase where needed
    • Source paid sponsorship content opportunities and flag to the Social & Influencer Manager
    • Support the Social & Influencer Manager on influencer and creator events, assisting with logistics and on-the-ground delivery
    • Obtain usage rights permissions on approved sponsorship content
    • Support the Social & Influencer Manager on content generation for paid channels
    • Upload and maintain content to COAT's internal content library, keeping assets organised and up to date

Requirements

Essential:

  • 2+ years' experience in a social media, influencer marketing or content role, ideally within a lifestyle, home or design-adjacent brand
  • Experience managing organic social scheduling and publishing, with Instagram as a primary channel
  • Experience running gifted or influencer outreach end to end, including relationship management and deliverable tracking
  • Confident using social scheduling and community management tools
  • Comfortable working with platform-native analytics, pulling together clear and actionable reporting
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines at once
  • Strong written communication, adaptable across creator outreach, community replies and internal reporting
  • Personable, yet deliberate - able to build relationships with creators and partners, and move them forward with pace and purpose
  • An appreciation and respect for brand standards and brand image, when managing social and influencer content
  • Highly focused and organised, with the ability to see through noise and towards the bigger picture
  • A self-starter who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told

Desirable:

  • Experience within a D2C, interiors, fashion, design or sustainability-led brand. If it's a premium brand, even better.
  • Familiarity with TikTok and/or Pinterest, in addition to Instagram
  • Experience sourcing or coordinating UGC, trade or partner content, including handling usage rights
  • Basic understanding of content rights, permissions and sponsorship disclosure requirements
  • Experience supporting influencer or creator events
  • A genuine interest in social platforms, trends and emerging formats
