Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Management Worker to join our team.
Our Homeless Service Team help provide holistic support, care and rehabilitation opportunities for our customers who need it most. As a Housing Management Worker you will deal with all aspects of the Housing Management function, ensuring a high quality professional service is delivered and customer care standards are maintained for Homeless Service clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure supported accommodation properties are fit for purpose, undertake inspections and fire safety checks
- Liaise with income teams, key workers and other colleagues across the business on rent and service charges, client support and communications
- Administer and manage housing admissions and customer experience
Qualifications & Skills
- Hold a level 2 qualification (GCSE or equivalent), ideally in a relevant field for the role
- Demonstrable IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide life skills and guidance to others
- Customer service experience is essential to deliver a high standard service to Coastline\’s Homeless Service users
- Hours on a 2 week rolling rota including every other weekend and evening shifts
Experience
- Experience working with individuals within the social care sector or individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse support needs is advantageous
- Experience in housing management or an accommodation setting would also be advantageous
