We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fire Door Carpenter to join our team at Coastline. As a Fire Door Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out the installation, maintenance and surveying of fire doors at Coastline properties throughout Cornwall, including out‑of‑hours service. You will ensure that works are carried out in the most cost‑effective and efficient manner while complying with Fire and Safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance and surveying of fire doors on Coastline properties in Cornwall.
- Work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service in customers’ homes.
- Use a mobile device and basic IT skills to record and report work.
- Adhere to local housing knowledge and social housing sector experience when required.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery for fire‑door installers, or equivalent competence gained from on‑the‑job experience.
- Full driving licence.
- Satisfactory basic DBS check.
- Good standard of education and proven competence in joinery.
