Position Overview
As a Supervisor, you will be a key leader on the floor, working closely with the General Manager to drive the performance and success of the venue. You will lead the team during your shift, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance are maintained at all times.
You will be responsible for motivating the team, managing cash operations, and creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for both staff and customers.
As a leader, you’ll enjoy a varied schedule that combines day, evening, and occasional weekend shifts, giving you the opportunity to engage with the business at its busiest times. Direct gaming industry experience is not essential. We strongly encourage applications from accomplished supervisors with a strong background in high-volume retail or hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of Customer Assistants during your shift, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Operational Management: Oversee opening and closing procedures, manage cash desk operations, and ensure the venue is presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Experience: Act as the first point of escalation for customer queries, resolving them professionally to ensure a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
- Performance & Compliance: Monitor on-shift performance, ensuring the team adheres to all company policies, procedures, and responsible gaming standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or leisure environment.
- Proven experience in cash handling and reconciliation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good numeracy skills, Microsoft Excel experience and Computer skills.
