As the college continues to strengthen and grow its Construction and Building Services provision, we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to join our Construction & Building Services department on our Weymouth campus as a Bricklaying Instructor / Technician. This will also incorporate support within the classes for both staff and students.
We are now actively looking to expand our provision and seeking an instructor who can bring a wealth of skills and knowledge that will benefit both the further education and employer services provisions. About the Role
As a bricklaying technician / instructor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of practical and theoretical instruction and skills-based training, to a range of students, complementing the teaching and learning process in further education. You will also assist in the support, supervision and instruction of students undertaking full preparation of the learning environment including equipment, technology, aids, materials and resources.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of industry-relevant lessons aligned with the Construction curriculum.
- Supporting learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge.
- Preparing and maintaining classroom & workshop environments, equipment, and resources.
- Collaborating with colleagues and employers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
