About The Role
Through internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the Finance Department at Coastfields Leisure Ltd. This is a permanent, year‑round position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. This role is fully office‑based working from Ingoldmells, though a hybrid working pattern may be considered if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing clear & timely monthly management accounts, with commentary where required.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining fixed asset register.
- Monthly accruals and prepayments.
- Preparation of year end audit file for review.
- Point of contact for external auditors.
- Monthly sales reporting and commissions.
- Completion of monthly / quarterly regulatory returns (ONS/Gambling Commission/MGD etc.).
- Ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics system and internal financial reports.
- Ad hoc reporting for other arms of the business as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Part Qualified / Newly Qualified CIMA / ACCA (Strong QBE may be considered).
- Robust knowledge and experience in preparation of financial statements.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize relevant deadlines.
- Self‑motivated and able to work under your own initiative.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable but not essential.
