We have an opportunity to work for a fast growing, family run and friendly business based in Cromer. Coastal Gas Supplies is a highly customer focused energy company supplying LP Gas to homes and businesses throughout 3 counties. Our reputation is extremely important to us and is something we always look to improve on by providing our customers with excellent service and value for money. Due to our growth, we are looking for hard working, reliable and positive people to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and effective communication with both customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver LP Gas in cylinders to our customers
- Carry out all relevant daily vehicle checks to ensure it is in good working condition
- Loading and unloading vehicles ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit
- Accurately record returns on delivery notes
Normal hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday (some overtime required).
Requirements
- HGV Class 1 driving licence (Cat C) - essential
- Driver CPC - essential
- ADR Class 2 + Tanks - essential
- Loading/unloading of trailers
- Ability to provide high level of customer service
- Friendly, self-motivated and confident
- Good knowledge of local area is essential
