We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for yard shunting duties at customer premises in Whittlesey.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 22:00 - 06:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Using a tug to shunt trailers on-site as required.
  • Maintaining professionalism with customers and the public.
  • Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
  • Following health & safety and company procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Physical tasks involve coupling/uncoupling trailers, loading/unloading, climbing onto trailers, and handling bulker sheets.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in the agricultural sector, with a Category C+E license (clean license preferred).
  • Experience in shunting is required; full training is provided.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks and outdoor work.
