We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for yard-based shunting duties at a busy agricultural bulk transport company in Whittlesey.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 22:00 - 06:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Using a tug to shunt trailers on site as per customer requirements.
  • Maintaining professionalism with customers and the public.
  • Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
  • Following health & safety, site, and company procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Coupling/uncoupling units and trailers.
  • Loading/unloading and climbing into trailers.
  • Handling bulker sheets where needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the agricultural sector preferred.
  • HGV Class 1 license required, clean license preferred.
  • Full training provided if needed.
