Established in 1955, our company is a leading steel stockholder and processor in the UK, offering services for construction and engineering sectors. We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to support multi-drop deliveries, material movement, and occasional warehouse duties.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, efficient receipt, movement, and storage of goods using company vehicle and manifest.
- Plan effective routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize fuel use, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain vehicle safety and compliance with VOSA regulations, and assist in loading/unloading materials.
- Support stock management and warehouse operations with good housekeeping and quality control.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate courteously with clients and suppliers.
- Attend meetings and contribute to company strategies, undertaking additional duties as needed.
Skills & Benefits:
