We are seeking a reliable Lorry Driver to safely transport goods across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and high safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate lorry with crane and other commercial vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.
- Plan effective routes and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Secure cargo properly and maintain accurate delivery and vehicle logs.
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and delays.
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo as needed and adhere to driving hours regulations.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintain a clean driving licence record.
Skills: Proven commercial driving experience, knowledge of road safety laws, organizational and communication skills, and a valid licence. Crane experience is preferred but not essential.
Benefits & Details: Job type: Full-time, with benefits including pension and on-site parking. Pay ranges from £14.50 to £16.00 per hour. Work is conducted in person.
