We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for yard shunting at a busy agricultural bulk transport site in Whittlesey.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 22:00 - 06:00.
Responsibilities:
- Shunting trailers on-site using a tug, following customer requirements.
- Carrying out vehicle checks, reporting defects, and adhering to health & safety procedures.
- Providing professional customer service and maintaining a courteous attitude.
- Performing physical tasks such as coupling/uncoupling units, loading/unloading, climbing trailers, and handling bulker sheets.
Candidate Requirements:
- Possession of a Category C+E HGV licence; a clean licence preferred.
- Experience in shunting and driving a goods vehicle is desirable; full training provided.
- Experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous.
