Currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Day Drivers for ongoing work in Felixstowe. They will be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle safety and care. Must have experience with containers, commercial driving, and a strong focus on customer service and road regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operating flatbed and commercial vehicles safely to deliver goods
- Planning efficient routes to meet schedules while complying with legal hours
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Securing cargo properly for safe transport
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and communicating with dispatch
- Adhering to road safety laws and company policies
- Assisting with loading/unloading goods as needed

Pay:
Pay rate: £17.00 - £21.00 per hour (Ltd/S-E/PAYE accepted).
