We are seeking a Class 2 HGV driver for an immediate, permanent position at our Gloucester Depot.
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading tyres and multi-drop deliveries across the UK, mainly between Gloucester, Bristol, and Plymouth, with occasional travel to the South East or North West.
- Transporting tyres and related products to group companies, ensuring safe loading, securing cargo, and maintaining vehicle standards.
- Driving safely, planning efficient routes, conducting vehicle inspections, and completing paperwork accurately.
- Assisting warehouse operations as needed and adhering to health & safety regulations.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and clients, and maintaining a professional, courteous attitude at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record, CPC card, and proven driving experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with physical fitness for loading/unloading tasks.
