- Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.15pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm
- Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.15pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
Salary: £31,908 - £32,294
Community & Enterprise Resources are seeking a skilled road operative Chargehands. You will have experience in a variety of road maintenance and construction tasks e.g. surfacing, patching, drain laying, resetting ironwork, kerb laying, slab and block paving.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in an all-year round standby rota for which payment of overtime and standby will be made. A current full Driving Licence is essential. In particular, applications received from holders of HGV licence will be welcomed with salary being dependent on experience and qualifications. Experience in a supervisory capacity is also desirable.
Overseas Criminal Records Check: An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years. Applicants are responsible for providing evidence of the Overseas Criminal Record Check. The check must be translated into English and should come from the police, judicial authority, government department or home embassy of the country or countries concerned. The check must include an official statement confirming that the applicant does not have any history of or pending criminal record proceedings. Checks may be carried out to authenticate the documents provided.
