G3 Building Surveyor role at Coast Concrete Services. South Lanarkshire Council is a progressive, leading edge employer with an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Building Surveyor within Property Services. We deliver an integrated property management service based on strong links between our Building Services and technical property function. The post requires interaction with a variety of stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in a wide range of Building Surveying activities, including developing, supporting and delivering accurate and consistent building information, technical advice, adaptations in housing stock, dilapidations, projects and general Building Surveyor technical advice as required.
  • Progress all stages of development, design, project management, cost control and delivery of fabric projects.
  • Ensure high quality service provision with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, including effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a relevant degree level RICS approved academic qualification in Building Surveying.
  • South Lanarkshire Council supports APC development; candidates can range from graduate to MRICS qualified. Placement on the salary scale is dependent upon experience.
  • Active participation in the APC process is encouraged.
