This is an exciting opportunity to be part of South Lanarkshire Council's Community Engagement Team. This team has responsibility for working with local people across the authority and with Community Planning Partners to help them build capacity and harness resources within the community to identify and lead on their priorities.

The post will progress the work of the Community Planning Partnership by supporting its place-based neighbourhood planning work.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Support the development of community and partner capacity.
  • Support the delivery and monitoring of local Neighbourhood Plans and stakeholder Groups.
  • Support the delivery of Place Based Participatory Budgeting exercises.
