Overview
Location: Blackwood Primary School, Carlisle Road, Blackwood, ML11 9AT
Hours: 15 hours per week on a term-time basis
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 6am – 9am or 3pm – 6pm
Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour

Position type: Cleaner for Community & Enterprise Resources, providing cleaning services in schools and other locations. Duties include cleaning floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas and walls, and reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor. Practical tasks include using a buffing machine to clean floors and other surfaces in line with a predetermined schedule. The role requires maintaining site security and acting as a key-holder as required. Monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, and report any issues to management. Remove refuse and ensure appropriate waste disposal.
