We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to deliver personalised financial advice, manage day‑to‑day banking needs, and contribute to member growth in our Surrey branch. The role is part of a “Ready‑Now” program meaning you will receive training at a temporary branch before permanent placement.

Job Purpose

In this role you will identify lending, credit, and investment opportunities and provide trusted guidance while championing Coast Capital’s values. The Relationship Manager is a frontline ambassador, responsible for acquiring new members and deepening relationships with existing members.

Accountabilities

  • Build a deep understanding of members to provide positive, unexpected experiences.
  • Leverage banking expertise to match member needs with core banking, lending, and investment options.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to uncover and refer insurance, investment, personal insurance, and small‑business needs.
  • Engage customers in the “Where You’re at Money Chat” and maximise opportunities to help them manage, save, grow, and protect their well‑being.
  • Help change how Canadians feel about banking.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in a bank or credit union.
  • Post‑secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Canadian investment funds.
  • Solid understanding of day‑to‑day banking, complex investment, and lending products.
  • Strong sales capability with a keen eye for opportunity.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with diverse people.
  • Multi‑tasking ability, strong prioritisation, and high attention to detail.
