Cover Supervisor in Torquay

The primary purpose of this role is to cover staff absence and deliver lessons following work set by the teaching team, ensuring continuity of learning. In this role, you will work closely with our Cover Manager and alongside a small, dedicated team of colleagues who share the same role and take pride in forming trusting, respectful relationships with our young people.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role, offering something new and interesting every day. Our lessons are often practical and engaging. Our small class sizes, supported by teaching assistants, enable effective information sharing and tailored support for pupils, contributing towards maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.

We are looking for someone with classroom experience, who is adaptable, creative, and confident in problem-solving. You should enjoy building strong relationships with young people, supporting their learning, independence, and confidence. The role requires a flexible approach to meet the varied needs of our pupils and to help ensure every lesson is inclusive, purposeful, and engaging.
