About us

The Special Partnership Trust is a unique and ambitious educational trust dedicated solely to Special Educational Needs (SEN).

With six schools and four ARBs across the Southwest, we are committed to raising the bar and setting new standards in SEN education.

At Castlebridge School, we place our young people at the heart of everything we do—supporting not just academic success, but personal growth, independence, and wellbeing.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑focused EHCP Administrator to support our Special Educational Needs (SEN) school.

In this vital role, you will coordinate the Annual Review process for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with statutory requirements.

You will work closely with families, staff, and external professionals to help ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

If you are proactive, efficient, and passionate about supporting positive outcomes for young people, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and monitor EHCPs across the school, ensuring all statutory and legal requirements are met.
  • Liaise closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to build effective partnerships in the best interests of pupils.
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer Annual Reviews, Transition Reviews, and in‑year reviews, ensuring adjustments are made where pupil needs change.
  • Attend review meetings, take accurate minutes, and produce reports and statistics for the Headteacher.
  • Act as the first point of contact for EHCP‑related enquiries, maintaining positive and professional communication with families and partner agencies.
  • Generate Annual Review and School Report documents in the correct formats, working with the Local Authority’s SEN Assessment and Placement Teams to meet deadlines.
  • Plan and manage the School Report timetable, monitor completion, proofread content, and ensure distribution is completed on schedule.
  • Handle appeals‑related issues and respond to parent enquiries.
  • Coordinate data using SIMS and update school systems with required Annual Review information and pupil record updates.
  • Maintain accurate paper‑based and digital filing systems, completing general administrative duties such as photocopying and archiving.
  • Provide reception cover and wider administrative support when required.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 GCSEs A-C (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • Strong administration experience with good organisation skills.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work professionally with parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office and good typing skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and maintain accuracy.
  • Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and working in a non‑discriminatory manner.
  • Total Reward Offer

The Special Partnership Trust recognises the importance of developing a properly implemented People Strategy to underpin the overall strategic aims of the Trust.

Our People Strategy is designed to help us attract prospective high calibre candidates, as well as drive engagement, productivity and retention of our high performing and high potential employees.

It reflects our belief in putting our people first.

This does not mean putting our learners second.

It is based on the philosophy that if we create a positive and rewarding work environment, if our staff feel motivated, well managed and well supported, they in turn will provide the best possible outcome for our learners.

We recognise that our total reward offer, has got to consist of more than just money.

We seek to provide our staff with a diverse range of benefits that support their day to day needs both at work and outside of work.

These include generous leave entitlements and pension scheme as well as access to health/wellbeing tools, training & development, career pathways and opportunities to ensure they feel valued.
