Are you passionate about making a difference in supporting 11-18 year olds in overcoming barriers to learning? At St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, we are looking for an experienced, committed driven Pastoral Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. This permanent full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of our students within a welcoming school environment grounded in Catholic virtues.

About Us: St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy is a secondary school located in North Lincolnshire, with an Ofsted-rated "Good". We are part of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together 36 Catholic primary and secondary schools in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

As Pastoral Assistant, you will:

  • Work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.
  • Play a role in fostering students' well-being and academic success.
  • Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
  • Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
  • Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support students' learning and personal development.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
