Casual Exam Invigilators

If you are organised, dependable, and have a high level of personal effectiveness, we would love to hear from you. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience in an educational or administrative setting, particularly handling confidential materials, is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
We are seeking reliable and punctual Exam Invigilators to assist in the smooth and secure running of examinations. This role will include:
- Setting up exam rooms
- Ensuring all procedures are followed
- Closely monitoring students during exams to prevent malpractice
- Collecting and safely transporting exam papers
- Recording attendance
- Managing any emergencies in line with JCQ regulations
Successful applicants will be expected to assist the Exams Officer in the supervision and setting up of examinations and to ensure that guidelines and regulations relating to the integrity and security of examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions. Experience of working within an educational setting would be desirable although not essential, as full training will be provided.
You will need to be in a position to adopt a flexible approach to your working arrangements to be able to fit your availability around the examination timetable.
