We are seeking an exceptional Netball Performance Manager with a genuine passion for, and commitment to netball development.
The primary function of the jobholder will be to assist with the development of Netball incorporating both the Prep and Senior School, as well as leading and co-ordinating the delivery of a coaching plan for the girls’ programme at all levels.
Hurst has a strong netball history and is a major sport for all pupils in the Lent term. Experienced coaches run training sessions four to five times a week plus a competitive fixture card.
Students have access to brilliant facilities the College boasts nine outdoor Netball courts and one indoor court.
Our 1st VII, U16A, U15A and U14A all participate in a National Cup and the National School Competition. Our 2nd VII, U16B, U15B, U14B all play in the Sussex Cup. We enter and host SISNA (Sussex Independent School Netball Association) here at the College for all age groups, including U13 and U12 year groups. Our U11, U12 and U13 all compete in the annual IAPS National Tournaments. We have been to the National Finals for the last 10 years and are proud to represent the South. This is an ongoing ambition for us.
Experience, Skills and Qualities.
- Proven coaching experience from Prep School to Senior School, including working with elite players.
- England netball Level 2 Coaching Qualification or above and C award in umpiring.
- Experience in dealing with the England Netball pathways.
- Ability to lead, motivate and empower a body of coaches.
- Strong organisational, administration and time management skills.
- Ability to coach other sports is highly desirable
