As a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food service, ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and customer service. Duties will include:
- Basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)
- Serving food and drinks to customers
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
- Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces
- Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
- Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries
- Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but is not essential. More important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
