Bedford School is a leading independent boarding and day school for boys, situated in a beautiful estate in the heart of Bedford. We are proud of our diverse and welcoming community and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
We are looking for someone to be part of our Day House team, helping to build house communities in which every individual flourishes. We need someone who is reliable and proactive in their supervision of pupils in our Day Houses (pupil common rooms) during breaks, lunchtimes and periods of private study during the day.
Working across a number of Day Houses, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment whilst also maintaining good standards of behaviour and providing pastoral support to the pupils. Strong communication skills are important for this role and experience of supervising young people would be beneficial.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with one hour unpaid lunch.
