At Coapt, we’re looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to drive revenue, build momentum, and lead our sales team to the next level in the Brighton & Hove property market. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially sharp, and motivated by delivering consistent results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning sales performance – delivering against clear personal and team targets
- Driving new business – proactively sourcing and converting opportunities through outbound activity, referrals, and networking
- Leading by example – setting the pace through your own activity, attitude, and results
- Managing the pipeline – driving urgency, accountability, and conversion at every stage
- Valuing & winning instructions – delivering confident valuations and tailored proposals
- Coaching & motivating the team – creating a high performance culture through daily support, structure, and feedback
- Negotiating & closing – securing the best outcomes for clients and the business
- Overseeing sales progression – supporting the sales progressor to maintain momentum through to completion
- Promoting onward services – introducing buyers and sellers to Coapt’s wider services, including property management
- Working with marketing – collaborating on campaigns and content that generate high quality leads
- Customer‑facing marketing – participating in webinars and presentations to engage prospects or clients
- Reporting & forecasting – tracking KPIs, activity levels, and results
What we’re looking for:
- Proven sales leader – experience managing, mentoring, or developing a sales team
- Knowledge of HMO sales – experience preferred but not essential
- Target‑focused & commercially driven – motivated by results and exceeding expectations
- Exceptional communicator – confident, persuasive, and professional on the phone and in person
- Self‑motivated & accountable – takes ownership and delivers
- Adaptable & resilient – thrives in a fast paced, evolving environment

The Details:
- Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (9am–5:30pm), one evening session, & 1 in 4 Saturdays (10am–4pm)
