Overview
Coalition seeks a proactive Underwriter to grow profitable business with brokers across the UK, focusing on cyber and technology PI insurance. You will collaborate with sales and product teams to assess offerings, educate brokers and clients, and execute geography‑specific strategies to capture market share. This remote role emphasizes customer‑centric risk assessment and portfolio profitability within Coalition's Cyber/Technology lines. You will travel for in‑person broker and client engagement and contribute to Coalition's mission to protect businesses from digital risk.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to assess cyber products and capabilities
- Develop and manage strategic broker relationships to achieve production and profit targets
- Identify new customers through pipeline, pre-qualification, and territory analysis
- Understand local cyber insurance marketplace, Coalition capabilities, and geography-specific trends
- Propose profitable market-share capture strategies across assigned geography
- Travel for onsite visits and broker/client marketing activities
- Underwrite cyber and technology risks within personal authority and guidelines
Key requirements
- 3+ years of multi-line underwriting experience in Cyber/Technology PI
- Ability to work independently within current underwriting authority
- Knowledge of policy issuance and processing workflows
- Proficient in risk analysis for Technology Cyber insurance
- Strong sales, communication, and marketing skills with tight deadlines and high volume work
- Negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet production targets
- Professional designations such as ACII preferred
