Does working on the service and repair of a wide range of Groundcare machinery excite you? Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience of maintaining, servicing and repairing plant, machinery or vehicles? If working for a supportive and people orientated business who offers endless training, then this could be the role for you.
Based from home, as Field Service Engineer you will be travelling to customer sites which include schools, golf courses, private estates, premiership football clubs, rugby clubs throughout Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire. You will be responsible for the fault finding, diagnosis, service and repair of a wide range of groundcare machinery including but not limited to ride on lawnmowers, scarifiers, seeders, cultivators, aerators, top dressers, renovation machinery, weed and moss removers etc., resolving problems 1st time to maximise customer satisfaction and prevent costly revisits and credit situations.
As Field Service Engineer you will be time served or qualified to NVQ level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering or related subject and have at least 3 years' experience of working on the service and breakdown repair of mechanical based plant, equipment or machinery. You should also have an understanding of hydraulics, electrics and diesel engines.
Individuals with a background in the Armed Forces or previous experience of working on groundcare, agricultural, forklifts, excavators, rollers, dumpers or similar plant would be of distinct interest, though not essential.
To be successful in this role you must be presentable and possess strong customer facing and communication skills with a focus towards always delivering first class customer service.
