Overview
Field Service Engineer – Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire – £30,000 – £33,000 Basic + Door to Door + Overtime = £35k – £40k OTE. Benefits include Company Van, Mobile, Laptop, Fuel Card, Workwear, PPE, Pension, Death in Service 3 x salary, 20 days holiday increasing with service + bank holidays.
Based from home and after an initial training period, you will be responsible for the reactive maintenance, service and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment throughout Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the local region, working to strict service level agreements.
Responsibilities
- Perform reactive maintenance, service and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
- Work to strict service level agreements and respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate from home base after initial training period and cover on-site visits as required.
- Be on-call 1 in 3 weekends as part of the role once trained.
Qualifications
- Time-served Engineer with NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle or Plant Mechanics.
- Proven track record in field service, multi-skilled maintenance or systems engineering.
- Experience working on electro-mechanical systems (instrumentation, controls, pressure, level and flow systems, pumps, motors, valves and switches) with strong fault-finding skills.
