Full Training Provided - Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + door to door + overtime = £33k - £36k + Company Van + Tools + Workwear

Are you a semi-skilled or self-taught Engineer with a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering? Are you looking for an entry level opportunity to move into a field service role where full ongoing training will be provided? On joining this business you will be trained on how to inspect, service and maintain a range of equipment including small cranes, tail lifts and various ancillary equipment on commercial vehicles such as hot water vessels, diesel generated night heaters and the PAT testing of these.

Based from home, as Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for the test, inspection and maintenance of equipment on customer vehicle fleets throughout the Central Belt and further afield into the north of Scotland when required with some overnight stays.

To be successful in this role, you will have a practical approach to problem solving; be comfortable in using various hand tools; possess basic mechanical and electrical skills and determined to succeed within engineering and develop a long term career within a business.

This position would suit a semi-skilled or trainee Mechanic, Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or similar who is now looking to progress their career, develop their technical knowledge and practical skills with the long term opportunity to work and be trained on more complex equipment.
